Meet Our Board of Directors

Sondra Rolison, President

Sondra’s entire childhood was surrounded by her family's love of dogs, hunting and raising German short hair pointers. This ultimately morphed to a career in Dog Sports as a teen. In her budding 20s she  managed three grooming locations and was a young pet care business owner. Her first dogs were just pets, having fun with her Rottweiler, Dozer, in UKC obedience and then finding her love of dog sports and Schutzhund soon after. Titling her first in 2004, Blitz, a German Shorthair, still believed to be the first and only to have a ScH title in the USA.  2005, Getting her first German Shepherd(Inka vom Wällerhorst 4x Sch3, FH, FH2 Regional Competitor) and American Bulldog (Twisters Second to None Sch3, FH, WP1) in 2007. This led to titling over 10 personal HOT(Handler, owner, trained) dogs over the next 20 years in Dog Sport. Those breeds ranged from now several German Shorthairs, German Shepherds, Malinois, a Giant Schnauzer and 2 American Bulldogs including 5 Sch3 dogs and several FH and FH2 titles. In 2017 she qualified for the FCI World Tracking Championship and that same year at the  WDC FH Championship 3rd place finish. Combining those many years of Schutzhund she has earned a several Silver and Gold Sports Metal Awards thru USCA(United Schutzhund Clubs of America) over a dozen Regional and National level competitions. Volunteering for many Championships(in her favored phase) as a track layer and assisting with organization the phase of tracking when she wasn’t competing.

Sondra continues to strive to educate for her preferable breed in Dog Sport, The American Bulldog. Presently her Bulldog Beavis aka MightyBulls Brave Bull (BH, FPr3 NKC top 10 2017, UKC 2020 Top 10) is retired but is always working with others to strive for their working Bulldog goals with her all breed club, Maverick Sport Dog Club.

Sondra has presented many dogs in several organizations with many breeds. Placed, titled bulldogs in both NKC,UKC, USCA. Presently she is very active within the JGHV German testing system and holding training clinics and supporting her other love of hunting dogs, with her kennel vom Einzelgänger Deutsch Kurzhaars.

EVA EMMELL, TREASURER

I have owned and competed with American Bulldogs for over 20 years. My dogs have always been top competitors in a  variety of sports. I have always been a firm believer in matching the sport to the dog and this has given me experience in multiple sporting events. I have titled bulldogs in weight pull, conformation, rally and IPO. My first bulldog Notorious D.O.G (Kermit) held advanced titles in three different weight pull organizations, was on a UKC Top Ten conformation qualifier for multiple years and was a Grand Champion in both the NKC and UKC. Other ABDs that I have owned and trained are Notorious Molly Hatchet, Notorious Moody Blu, ad Notorious Rolling Stone.  All of these were NKC Champions. Another of my bulldogs, Secor’s Ajax was 2013 AWDF National Champion (IPO I) and received his IPO 3 in 2014. I still have Bulldogs, but also have competed in IPO with my Malinois (Siboveld’s Centurion (Finn) and Virgil.
