USCA and AWDF

Announcement by AWDF

As a result of the AWDF Executive Board’s decision, the AWDF has terminated the membership of USCA (United Schutzhund Clubs of America).

What this means for FedAB Membership:

1. AWDF will recognize titles earned at USCA club trials officiated by USCA judges until January 1, 2019.

2. Effective January 1, 2019, USCA membership in the AWDF is fully revoked, and all privileges associated with that membership are terminated.

   1. Titles earned by FedAB members with an AWDF scorebook at USCA clubs, under USCA judges after January 1, 2019, are not recognized by AWDF.

   2. If you earned your BH at a USCA trial before January 1, 2019 you can continue to earn your IGP 1-3 titles at AWDF member clubs.

   3. If you earned your IGP 1 at a USCA trial after January 1, 2019, you must repeat this title under an AWDF-recognized judge in order to continue to IGP 2-3.

3. Excluding the AWDF IPO and FH Championships where membership in an AWDF club is required, AWDF clubs will allow USCA members to enter AWDF club trials with their current USCA membership and with USCA scorebooks (issued before the date of this memo) until June 30, 2019.
